2012 Annual Session Mixer Entertainment

"Johnny Holm Band"

Come enjoy free beer, snacks and entertainment from the "Johnny Holm Band". The show is dedicated to the fans, and they do most of the entertaining. Mostly impromptu, the show moves with the speed of lighning and changes direction as soon as "the pied piper" notices a lag. "Never a dull moment" was never a more true description of the Johnny Holm Band.

The theme of the Mixer is "Let's Get Physical" and registrants are encouraged to dress in your favorite 80's costume. Tickets will be sold for chances to win many great raffle items!

Annual Maximums on Adult Dental Medicaid Benefits

The Medicaid Solutions Task Force has recommended a $1,000 annual maximum on Adult Dental Medicaid benefits. There is no legislation on this issue. This change will be made through an amendment to the “State Plan” for operating Medicaid and will be reflected in the general appropriations bill. An exemption is expected to be made for “emergencies”. This would include cases requiring general anesthesia and extensive care for special needs patients will be exempted from the annual maximum. The SDDA Dental Health Committee will meet with the Department of Social Services regarding revisions to the Medicaid Plan Amendment.
